Cats & Quilts - a match made in heaven... (except maybe those stubborn little clouds of fur that latch on to the fabric!)

Kitty Quote of the Day

I love cats because I enjoy my home; and little by little, they become its visible soul. - Jean Cocteau

Tuesday Treasures

I was reading a book called Vintage Home I got from the library & it will filled with pretty things I liked very much so I took a few pics to remind me of them & hope against all odds that one day I may find something just like them.

The first is this soapdish, which I am still searching for but no luck so far - it's so cute

The second is this plate

This appealed just for the aspect of giving thanks for what we have and seeing the positives even in something as down right awful as doing the dishes. As my bench often contains dishes I thought it would be right at home in my place.

A couple of weeks later at the local St Vinnies I was overjoyed to see my new plate, not quite the same but same saying, same sentiment & just as lovely. $3 later & it was mine so this is my Tuesday Treasure for this week.

Happy treasure hunting
